Insure Oklahoma is a health coverage subsidy to help small business owners (with 50 or fewer employees) provide health insurance to their lower to moderate income employees and employee’s spouses.
Insure Oklahoma pays 60% or more of the employee’s premium cost and 85% or more of the premium cost for the employee’s spouse.
Insure Oklahoma is not an insurance plan. Rather, it works in conjunction with qualified health plans from several major insurance carriers.
Employees pay up to 15% of their premium cost. Employers pay 25% of their employee’s premium cost.
