Roger M. Flippo |
|
Roger Flippo has been in the health insurance industry for 18 years. A 1977 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Physical Education, Flippo taught elementary P.E. for 4 years and Middle School Science in Edmond for 2 years. While teaching, Flippo also coached basketball in both Norman and Edmond Schools. Flippo began his health insurance career with PacifiCare in Tulsa as a Secure Horizons representative. After 4 years with PacifiCare, Flippo went to work in Chicago for Humana as a Sales Manager. After one year in Chicago, Flippo then moved back to Tulsa to take over the development and launch of the Senior Health Plan for CommunityCare. The Senior Health Plan soon became the fastest growing senior plan in Oklahoma thanks to Flippo’s leadership and a great sales and operations staff at CommunityCare. It is now the largest senior plan in the state of Oklahoma. Flippo was named Regional Sales Manager for HealthCare Oklahoma in 1999. Flippo left HealthCare Oklahoma in 2001 to start his own group benefits brokerage firm, D& R and Associates. In February 2005, D&R was dissolved and Flippo Insurance and Employee Benefits was started. Flippo moved his offices to Broken Arrow in March of 2006. Flippo is a member of several chamber of commerce including: ¨ Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce ¨ Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce ¨ Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce ¨ Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce Flippo is an active member in the following industry trade associations: ¨ Tulsa Association of Health Underwriters ¨ National Association of Health Underwriters Flippo has also been very active in his community by participating in the following associations: ¨ Basketball Coach—Recreation League, Boy & Girls Club of the Salvation Army ¨ Soccer Coach—Recreation League, Indian Nations Soccer League ¨ Boy Scout Leader—Troop 935, First United Methodist Broken Arrow ¨ Leadership Broken Arrow Graduate—Class of 2008 ¨ Project Manager for LBA Centennial Clock Class Project ¨ Board Intern—Partners In Education Broken Arrow Schools ¨ Mentor—Partners in Education Broken Arrow Schools

Maryanne Flippo |
|
Maryanne Flippo is currently Group Services Manager for Flippo Insurance and Employee Benefits. Before joining Flippo Insurance, Maryanne was a homemaker and mother of 4 boys. She has been very active in community service for many years having served as a Cub Scout leader, a homeroom mother, a PTA member, and currently is on the Broken Arrow School Board having been elected in 1999. |
